| Students in my classroom are encouraged daily to "Bee" a Person of Character. This plan is based on our school's monthly character trait. Students are "Bee"havior. Students are rewarded for their good "Bee"havior, grades and attendance. Below you will see how each of these areas are rewarded in my classroom. Also you will see the ten rules for good "Bee"havior. |

| REWARDS FOR GOOD "BEE"HAVIOR 1. Students who are caught "bee"ing good throughout the day will be asked to place a bee in the Bee Hive. At the end of the day I will draw a name from the hive computer pass. (Students Pick) (I keep a pocket full of blank bees. When I spot good behavior I asked the student to write their name on the bee and place it in the hive.) 2. The students are chosen as Student's of the Week. (There is a boy and girl chosen each week) 3. The students receive free computer time and extra recess time for following GUE's "Bee" a Student of Character. Working Hard will pay off in our classroom. |
The students can also earn tickets on Friday for completing their homework assignments and perfect attendance for the week. (no tardies) For all test grades and Weekly Reader grades that are 100/6+, the students will have a chance to win a bucket of gum. Each time we take a test grade they write their name on a piece of paper and place it in a jar. At the end of each nine weeks, I will draw two names from the jar. |
