| Who went to the beach this summer? Who learned how to ride a bike? Who has a baby sister? With this Community Building Activity there is no time to be shy. The goal is to be the first one with all questions filled in with a student's name. They had a great time learning each others names and facts about them. You can see that from the pictures. |

| During our Westward Movement unit, we studied the uses and importance of quilts. We looked at artwork, read The Patchwork Quilt, and then created a square of our own. Each square that was created came with a story to tell. After all were turned in we then put together a class quilt. As you can see in the pictures below the students enjoyed looking at the quilt and telling their story. |
