Motivating to Read Project
Moving to the Science lab doesn't mean that this project will end.  Christa King will
take my place and partner with Pauly at GES.  Watching it continue of course is bitter
sweet, but it will continue going into its sixth year. THANK YOU MRS. KING!
I started working with Pauly when my son was in First grade.  My goal was to get my
4th/5th graders motivate to read and write more.  This project has grown into so
much more.

Our class has been partnered with a Kindergarten/First grade
Multi-Age class, (Pauly Oakes) at Grenada Lower Elementary.
We  worked on lots of reading and writing projects with them during the year.
Our first visit we interview and read to the students. Each visit from that are built
around classroom units, seasonal holidays and so much more.

This will be the third year for
Mrs. Lucius and Mrs. Denley
Mrs. Sanford and Mrs. Waters
to work together.

In the future I hope to see even more teachers partnered with a class from GES.  As
changes do occur I plan on posting them here.
I also plan on posting links or picture trails from previous years.  At this point in time
that will not happen over night due to my laptop crashing this summer.  I am slowly
getting my files back and will never trust a computer completely again. :)
So please check back for more photos.
