| Young Writers' Camp June 9-13, 2008 |

| This week long camp is full of writing and fun. Our location this year will be Grenada Upper Elementary. Students entering the fourth grade will be offered the chance to attend the camp. All students must submit a recommendation by their current teacher and parent form. Only ten students will be chosen this year for the camp. This small group setting allows us to work one-on-one with the kids. |
| This year the Writer's Camp will be partially funded by UMWP and the rest of the funding will come from local business in Grenada. If you are interested in Supporting a child for this week, please contact me love2teach_shaw@yahoo.com. For every $50.00 one child is sponsored. |
| The Students will be lead by two teacher instructors from the University of Mississippi Writing Project, Melody Shaw (Grenada Upper Elementary) and Carol Smith (Grenada Elementary School). |
